A Farm Story

Once there were three little girls who, like many children, thought their food came from a store.  “But where did your food come from first?” we would ask.  It occurred to these country-loving parents that the best way to teach them to appreciate their food would be to raise it or grow it.

And so began a life-long journey of learning and discovery.

It quickly became obvious that what we produced was far superior to anything we could buy in the supermarket.  I knew exactly what our animals had eaten and how they had been treated. I knew that our fruits and vegetable were clean–no chemicals had touched our soil.  Our food was fresh, delicious, and highly nutritious. Our family loved it; our friends and guests loved it; we had plenty to share.

Fast forward through decades of job changes, moves, graduations, weddings, and grandchildren, and our pursuit remains the same. We will always be learning about food– how to produce the best; about animals–how to raise them respectfully; about nutrition — how food affects our bodies; and about sharing–how to let others enjoy what we offer.

Let us help you discover what pure, honest food tastes like.  Do you know where your food comes from?
