$100 for a whole hog; $50 for a half
Slaughter Fee*:
$90 for a whole hog; $45 for a half
*Our prices are based on what the processor is currently charging for their services. If their prices change, we will let you know about a month before our butchering date in September.
Processing Fee:
This year, we will be working with Earl’s Meats in Holland to create a meat bundle custom designed just for you. Pricing is set by Earl’s Meats by the pound with extra fees for smoking, sausage, etc.
Currently, their price is 68 cents per pound for either half or whole hogs. Prices are based on “hanging weight.”
Balance Due:
All that is left to pay is the remainder of our costs to raise your pig. We base our price on current market rates.
For 2024, our price will remain at $3.00 per pound, “hanging weight.”*

*”Hanging Weight” is measured after an animal has been slaughtered and all waste portions are discarded (i.e., from a live hog weighing 200 lb, you can expect around 130 lbs. available for meat).
